Whether you’re planning a weekend fishing trip or a family getaway, our city-owned RV park in Au Gres offers the perfect setting. Nestled along the shores of Saginaw Bay and Lake Huron, our campground has been a local favorite since the 1960s, and is popular for boating, fishing, and camping.

We currently offer 108 spacious campsites and two cozy cabins, 25 full hook-up (sewer, water & electric) , 33 river site with water and electric and 50 off river sites with water and electric. Coming soon with additional 28 lots and cabins. From anglers looking to be close to the bay, to couples and families seeking a laid-back stay, our visitors return year after year for the quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, and unbeatable location—just minutes from town, shopping, and dining.

As a city-operated campground, we take pride in offering well-managed facilities while maintaining relationships (not competing) with area businesses. We offer playground equipment and easy access to a nearby splash pad for summer fun. Campers love our clean restrooms, quiet surroundings, and large sites—perfect for both tent setups and full-size rigs at our RV park.

Online reservations are managed through ResNexus. At this time, we handle all bookings in-house. This personal touch helps us match guests to the ideal site and accommodate shifting needs when possible.

In addition to campsites, we offer rental pavilions—ideal for group gatherings and events. We’re working on adding detailed size, capacity, and photo information online to make planning easier.
